When God Has…

Joshua 2:3 (KJV) “And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab, saying, Bring forth the men that are come to thee, which are entered into thine house: for they be come to search out all the country.”

When God has spoken something over our lives, He will bring it to pass. This we have an assurance of within His Word. We know that the enemy will initiate any assault against us to incapacitate and immobilize us. We look to God to deliver us out the enemy’s hand each time through some spectacular demonstration of His Power. However, God’s deliverance from the enemy’s evil intent for us comes in many forms. So we should never discount anything or anyone whose God chooses to use.

The Apostle Paul correctly stated,

1 Cor. 1:27-28 KJV “But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 28 And the base things of the world, and things which are despised, has God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to naught things that are…”

Why?

1 Cor. 1:29 KJV “…That no flesh should glory in His presence…”

Conclusion

We must ensure that we remain aligned with the Spirit of God in order to receive the correct counsel, not only in the time of need but also on our daily journey and in our daily interactions. We have to be spiritually sober enough to recognize the vessel He chooses to use: 1) to bring forth the Word we so desperately needed to hear, 2) to provide the means to begin something God has instructed us to do, 3) to protect from the plan of the enemy to exploit us…and the list could go on and on (1 Pet. 5:6-11).

We never know of which method God elects to use, but we can be certain that, in the end, all things are going to work together for our good (Rom. 8:28).
