Joshua 1:3 (KJV) Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.
When God speaks, we have to be more observant of the promises He makes to us. Why? Because we will draw our strength from them during the difficult times on our journey to fulfilling the promise. When God speaks to us, He tells us that “we will do, we will be, or we will become“. This aligns with whatever it is He has designed for us “to do, be or become“. However, He follows this with the fact of what “He has done“. In other words, when God speaks of His actions in the past tense as having already been accomplished. This always occurs prior to our actions which are to come in the future.
When God speaks for us in the future, He has already given it to us in the past. It will come to pass. His Word will not return to Him void because He has already cause to happen, He has already called those things which be not as though they already were in existence (Isa. 55:11; Rom. 4:17, 21). All we need to do is merely believe and walk it out in our everyday life in faith as though we already have it (Rom. 4:20). We have to see it as God sees it, which is that we already have the promises within our possession (2 Cor. 1:20).
When God speaks, strengthen and encourage yourself with every word…
