Prepared For The Battle

Exodus 5:23 (KJV) For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath done evil to this people; neither hast thou delivered thy people at all.

In this verse, Moses has forgotten that God told him that He would harden Pharoah’s heart and he would not let the children of Israel leave. We often forget the word God has given us in times of conflict. We become confused because we expect the process to be easy and the promise to come to pass without incident. It does not mean that God has forgotten what He has promised. It does not mean that the promise will not come to pass. The process helps to build our level of faith in God’s ability to do exactly what He said He would do and it also prevents us from claiming the glory for what we could not have done in our own strength.

Microwave processes and microwave faith results in microwave Christians, which is the equivalent of weak Christians. Realistically speaking, God does not call us to be weak, flimsy believers, but battle-ready and battle-proven soldiers that can stand firm in the faith in these upcoming days of evil (2 Tim. 2:1-4). Long gone are the days for passivity. The enemy has launched an assault on the Body of Christ that is causing even those who have professed to be an ambassador of the Kingdom to turn on those who have remained true to their calling. It is time for the people of God to learn and understand how to implement the fundamentals of our faith in our lives on a daily basis.

Realistically speaking, we need to become prepared for the battle that is ahead…
