James 5:14-16 (KJV) Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him; and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. 16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Good Morning, my Dearest Brothers and Sisters! I greet you in the name of the One Most Holy God and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Today’s post is a little different as I am soliciting prayer because I am dealing with a major toothache that has the entire right side of my face in pain. I was supposed to have a root canal on July 7th but was placed under 14-day quarantine because I had face-to-face contact with a co-worker who tested positive for COVID-19. Thanks to the Almighty Father that I tested negative and she is okay now. However, being under quarantine meant that I had to cancel my dental appointment until a later date.
When I called to reschedule my appointment, I was told that I couldn’t be seen until August 19th. Regardless of how I was nearly groveling in pain and begging for a closer date, the attendant stuck to her guns and told me that if something were available before the scheduled date, she would notify me. I was given some antibiotics and Tylenol-3 in the interim yesterday to “help with the pain”.
Meanwhile, it is difficult to eat, sleep, or just sit because of the pain. In other words, the medication is not helping. I am asking those of you who will pray to do so on my behalf because I am not certain that August 19th is a reality and I may have to find an emergency oral surgeon on my own.
I appreciate, love and thank God our Father for each of you…
In Jesus’ name,
