2 Samuel 6:12 (KJV) And it was told king David, saying, The Lord hath blessed the house of Obededom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obededom into the city of David with gladness.
Wherever the Presence and Spirit of the Living God rests, a blessing comes along with Him. This is why it is important that we not only invite but to usher in God’s Presence and Power into our lives, our homes, wherever we go, and into whatever we do. We cannot merely say we are blessed without inviting and ushering in the Presence of the One Who provides the blessing. One cannot be separated from the other. It is a package deal.
We must not place our focus upon the blessing as much as we should understand that the presence of the blessing represents a reminder of the Goodness of the One Who has given the blessing to us. The blessing should redirect our attention towards the One Who has blessed us. For all He does is done to direct our attention from the earthly realm to the Realm of the Heavenly King (Col. 3:1-2).
